say hello to my new camera (box). (the camera's being charged so a picture wouldn't look nice)
Anyway, the story isn't about the new camera.. it's about my old IXUS IIs. for some reason unknown to me, the screen would flicker when the camera is in "shoot" mode. and when i was in KL, the charger didn't charge the battery. (and elaine couldn't charge her camera cos no adapter, so we had to depend on my phone. but that's another story for another time)so anyway, my brother wanted to borrow my camera for his trekking trip to kilimanjaro. of course, i agreed to lend it to him. i mean, real, original photographs from kilimanjaro, africa's highest peak, why wouldn't i want it? BUT like i said, something was wrong with it, so i told him. and asked him to go cannon service centre to get it fixed. (the excuse i gave for not going myself is that i work 5 1/2 days every week, i won't have time to go. which is true, mind you) so i packed up my camera and its box and sent him off. haha. (it was more like chase him out of my room)
my brother, being the ever-so-nice brother brought it to service centre today. (actually i think it's cos he really wanted a camera for the trip. not that he's so nice to me. but at least he did it. heh) and the service centre people told him that some part inside needs to be replace and that might take 2 months or so. or alternatively, he could trade in the IIs for another camera. so after much contemplation and consulting me, guess which one he did?
