After about 2 years of neglect, my family decided to clean up our bicycles and go cycling... it's a nice feeling to be doing something together as a family again... well we still sometimes go for dinner together and all but we haven't cycled to marina south for a really long time. and marina south is in a pretty bad state right now.we saw a group of people playing ultimate frisbee while we were there. it look fun but seems like it's really hard to play cos it's like a cross between netball and touch rugby. eg. you cannot run with the frisbee and you cannot drop the frisbee... but then again i love (okay like, love is kinda strong a word) challenges so maybe i'll join smurf to try it out... i'll see about that...
so anyway, we had a mini picnic dinner at the seaside/riverside whatever u call that place. it started to get really cloudy so our dinner was cut short and we had to pack up and leave... made it home in record time... got caught in a bit of rain though.
overall, had a pretty great day today.. lots of slacking around with the excuse that i'm still tired from yesterday.. just received a call from my orientation camp facilitator. we're going to meet up as a group for dinner at marche. anyone have suggestions on what i should eat there? i've only eaten there once, very inexperience.
i hope the people in my group are nice. or at least there's someone with whom i can click with. i've been lucky for the accountancy retreat as there was someone i could hang around with. hopefully i'll be as lucky. considering that there are 12 people in the group, it shouldn't be too difficult, right? i sure hope so...
